About

The Clinical Society of Bath
Postgraduate
Education for Clinicians
The Clinical Society of Bath was founded in 1908 by clinicians working in the Bath area

Its aim was to foster education for established doctors by encouraging discussion of clinical cases and exchange of ideas.  It follows in the footsteps of a long and distinguished history of medical education in the city, providing local opportunities for professional development of doctors, dentists and allied health professionals, at all stages of their careers

Based in the Postgraduate Medical Centre at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, our chief focus is the provision of a series of lectures on the wider aspects of medicine and its interaction with society, both past and present

In addition to our educational programme, the society also offers room hire.  A range of rooms are available, including a tiered lecture theatre with full audiovisual facilities and a number of seminar and committee rooms.  Catering and bar facilities can also be booked through the society
